Job summary

Janus Rx is seeking a Staff Pharmacist. In the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge, you will supervise personnel and participate in all aspects of pharmacy workflow, including data entry, prescription fulfillment, final verification, and dispensing.

You will ensure care quality across all ages, maintain medication records, and follow local, state, and federal regulations. Strong communication and basic informatics are essential to support safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education; Baccalaureate or PharmD degree required.
• Current and valid registration and licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist.
• Abide by the privacy rule standards of HIPAA.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Moderate computer knowledge.
• Possesses BLS Certification if necessary.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the PIC, supervises personnel and participates in all aspects of pharmacy workflow including data entry, prescription fulfillment, final verification, and dispensing.
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients.
• Maintains appropriate records for all medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
• Performs all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure patient safety and minimize healthcare errors.
• Interprets medication orders, monitors drug regimens, and performs interventions when needed.

Education
