The Hospitals of Providence East Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Night Shift Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, oversee medication therapy, and ensure safe dispensing for inpatients.
Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for safety and efficacy, advising the patient care team, performing verifications, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Pharmacist license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS may be required for direct patient care.

Provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems. Additionally: ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. May also advise physicians on medication utilization.
Education
Required: Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy
Preferred: Hospital experience
Required: Pharmacy license. AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required if direct patient care responsibilities.
Preferred: Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), CGP, etc.
