Sharp HealthCare is seeking a pharmacist to provide drug information, dispense/compound medications, and oversee drug distribution across the hospital. You will support the Director of Pharmacy and, in their absence, assume pharmacy operations.
Required California Pharmacist License; PharmD/PhD preferred, plus 1 year acute care experience and controlled substances handling. ACLS/PhART certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

AWS Hours Requirement: 10/40 - 10 Hour Shift
Additional Shift Information: 10 hours variable shifts from 6:00am - 4:30pm and 10:30am - 9:00pm.
Weekend Requirements: As Needed
On-Call Required: No
Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $77.250 - $77.250 - $84.980
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
Performs professional functions relating to providing appropriate drug information participating in all clinical programs, dispensing, and compounding of drugs. Has responsibility for drug control within the pharmacy and distribution throughout the hospital. Assists in other areas as directed by the Director of Pharmacy. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy or Pharmacy Manager, assumes responsibility for the operation of the Pharmacy.
