Has responsibility for drug control within the pharmacy and distribution throughout the hospital. Assists in other areas as directed by the Director of Pharmacy. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy or Pharmacy Manager, assumes responsibility for the operation of the Pharmacy. **Required Qualifications*** California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy -REQUIRED **Preferred Qualifications*** Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)* Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)* Other PGY1* 1 Year acute care hospital experience.* Experience with controlled substances.* Oncology experience (OP Infusion Oncology department only). **Other Qualification Requirements*** ACLS or PhART (Pharmacy Advanced Resuscitation Training), required certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. - REQUIRED Maintains a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education per license period (2 years), required. **Essential Functions** * The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner.
