Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking a Retail/Outpatient Pharmacist for a hospital located near Columbus, Ohio. This on-site, full-time day-shift role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population.

You will provide immunizations, MTM, counseling, and medications management, with duties spanning neonates to geriatrics. The position offers a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a rotating weekend schedule for about one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college/university of pharmacy; PharmD or B.S. Pharmacy
• Pharmacist licensed with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Immunization Certification, or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pharmaceutical care in accordance with applicable state and federal laws
• Deliver clinical support and distribution services to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery for all customers
• Provide retail pharmacy services including immunizations, patient consultation, specialty medications, medication therapy management, and meds-to-beds programs as applicable
• Address pharmaceutical care needs of patients across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, regulatory and accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards

Location: Centerburg, Ohio | Schedule: full time, day shift, on-site | Compensation: $48hr (100,000) to $70hr (145,600) depending on experience

What you'll do

• Provide quality pharmaceutical care in accordance with applicable state and federal laws
• Deliver clinical support and distribution services to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery for all customers
• Provide retail pharmacy services including immunizations, patient consultation, specialty medications, medication therapy management, and meds-to-beds programs as applicable
• Understand and address the pharmaceutical care needs of patients across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, regulatory and accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college/university of pharmacy; Bachelor's degree or PharmD required
• Pharmacist registered and licensed with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Immunization Certification, or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire

Preferred qualifications

• 340B experience preferred

Compensation and benefits

• Pay range between $48hr (100,000) and $70hr (145,600), depending on experience

• full time, day shift position with 9-hour shifts and a rotating weekend shift (approximately one weekend per month)
• Rotating holiday schedule; pharmacy open on shortened hours for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve; closed on other holidays
• Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-4pm
