Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, seeks a Pharmacist to prepare compounds and dispense medications for outpatient and ambulatory care, including retail and specialty items. You will provide drug information to health care practitioners to promote rational use and participate in drug monitoring services.

Counsel patients on prescription medications prior to discharge or dispensing, and contribute to teaching programs for retail and specialty staff.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. and NYS Pharmacy license and registration (or eligible) with Immunization Privilege required.
• CPR certification required by time of appointment.

Work Days:

Rotating schedule between 12:30pm-11pm using a 7 on/7 off schedule
