Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, contribute to policy development, and participate in an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The role emphasizes accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in line with regulatory standards.

Candidates should hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with current state licensure and preferably have supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program or equivalent.
• State licensure in good standing with the state board of pharmacy.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team to leverage information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to professional standards.
