Responsibilities

• Performs duties of distribution, documentation, and compounding related to drugs, solutions, and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Reviews, compounds, dispenses, and monitors medication therapy for patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, considering dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease states.
• Supervises pharmacy technician activities, including monitoring all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
• Performs patient-focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide optimal medication therapy.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
• Minimum Experience: N/A
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a registered pharmacist in Georgia.
• Additional Qualifications: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
