Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of medications, properly labeled and unexpired.
• Provides patient education on pharmacotherapy as needed.
• Acts as preceptor for pharmacy interns.
• Ensures cost-effective inventory without compromising patient care.
• Communicates with medical staff regarding drug therapy in a timely manner.
• Oversees training and education of pharmacy staff.
