Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle is seeking a Pharmacist PRN Days to join our community hospital team in Azle, Texas. This on-site role supports medication distribution, order verification, and clinical pharmacy services while collaborating with pharmacists, technicians and nurses.
You will help ensure patient safety, maintain competencies, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to cost containment and process improvements.
Pharmacist PRN Days
Work location: 108 Denver Trail Azle, Texas 76020
Work hours: PRN (As Needed)
Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
Ongoing professional development and growth.
Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
Other duties as assigned.
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle is a community-based hospital serving the suburban areas of Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown and the surrounding areas.
