Guthrie Clinic is seeking a per diem Pharmacist for inpatient hospital duties in Corning, NY. You will prepare and dispense medications for patients within the Hospital Pharmacy, and support daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
Responsibilities include drug information dissemination, IV admixtures, DUE participation, ADR reporting, and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians. A NYS pharmacist license is required; PA license preferred. Travel may be involved.
This is an inpatient Pharmacist position.
Responsible for preparing and dispensing medications for patients within the Hospital. Provides those other services which may be required as part of the daily operating activities of the Pharmacy Department; compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, using standard physical and clinical procedures to fill written prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and other qualified prescribers.
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy. License Current License as pharmacist in NYS and preferably PA.
Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred but not required.
The contracted rate of pay for this per diem position is $81.18/hr
