Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee hospital pharmacy operations under the Manager of Pharmacy. The role includes compounding, labeling, dispensing, and supervising technicians to ensure safe medication use.

You will provide clinical drug information, support education for residents and students, and participate in committees. The position requires Florida pharmacist licensure, PharmD, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Supervises pharmacy technicians in all work areas.
  • Provide clinical services to enhance medication administration and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Provide clinical drug information to meet the needs of the healthcare staff.
  • Participation in appropriate committees.
  • Provide support for department education including residents, interns, and students.
  • Require up to 25% variable staff rotation to meet department needs including evenings and weekends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Physical Requirements

Threshold Requirements

These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in‑service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program and Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
