Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a per diem Pharmacist for the City Employee Pharmacy in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires accurate dispensing, compliance with state and federal laws, and serving as a drug information resource for patients and providers.

Candidates should have PharmD or equivalent, an active Colorado license, and 3+ years of retail experience with leadership and teamwork skills. Pay is $75 per hour, with Monday–Friday hours in a closed-door, professional setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• PharmD or equivalent demonstrated experience required.
• Clear/Active Colorado Pharmacist license.
• 3+ years retail pharmacy experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all of the duties of a pharmacist, ensuring that prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately, and for adhering to all applicable State and Federal laws that govern the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc.
• Pharmacist may be required to precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
