Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Southeast Ohio is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team on a per diem basis. The role includes handling drug distribution, IV admixture, and clinical support within a fast-paced hospital pharmacy.

You will maintain stock, educate patients on discharged medications, and contribute to staff training and quality improvements. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, daytime hours, and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of drug distribution systems and central operations.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Southeast Ohio (Inside Licking Memorial Hospital)

Schedule: Per Diem (As Needed) / Daytime Hours / Seeking candidate with availability to work weekend coverage rotation approximately once or twice per month (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Compensation: $62 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
