Job summary

Regency Hospital - Cleveland West is seeking a Pharmacist for a per diem position in Middleburg Heights, OH. The role focuses on coordinating pharmacy services across drug distribution, IV admixture, and central operations within a busy inpatient environment.

You will provide clinical support, ensure drug availability, and educate patients on medications at discharge, while contributing to staff training and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
• Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.
• Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.
