Overview

Pharmacist - Per Diem at Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Stockton, California. This modern inpatient rehabilitation facility focuses on restoring hope and function for patients after injuries or illnesses. The hospital offers specialized rehab services for stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery recovery, and other complex conditions.

State‑of‑the‑Art Equipment includes Bionics Exoskeleton, Bioness Integrated Therapy System, Chattanooga modality equipment, LiteGait system, and on‑site Modified Barium Swallow and pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Pharmacist required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of national pharmacist regulations and standards of practice.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Consults with nursing and medical staff on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors or complaints. Conducts drug utilization reviews and prepares drug review criteria for medical staff approval. Monitors drug therapies as assigned by medical staff and suggests alternatives as appropriate. Consults with physician and physician groups concerning financial risk management related to prescribing. Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: USD $61.29 – $84.14 per hour.
