Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to join the Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital team in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This per diem role supports inpatient services across stroke, spinal cord injury and orthopedic care, with focus on safe medication management and collaborative patient care.

Holders of a current Pharmacist license with hospital experience are preferred; supervisory skills and strong communication help ensure adherence to regulations and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Consults with nursing and medical staff on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors or complaints.

• Conducts drug utilization reviews and prepares review criteria for medical staff approval.
• Consults with physician groups concerning financial risk management related to prescribing.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current license as a Registered Pharmacist required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
