• Experience in community/retail pharmacy preferred; immunization certification is common.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns in prescription data entry and dispensing.
• Counsel caregivers on medications and review patient profiles for safety issues.
• Obtain and troubleshoot insurance information; provide drug information to health professionals and families.
• Coordinate with clinics and hospital staff to ensure safe, appropriate dosing for pediatric patients.
