Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients and deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management. You will educate patients on medication usage, costs, and safety while ensuring regulatory compliance and mentoring team members.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, active licensure in eligible states, and immunizer certification or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
