Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient-focused role. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on meds, and deliver clinical services including immunizations and MTM.

You will ensure safety and quality through precise dispensing and regulatory compliance, while mentoring fellow team members. Qualified candidates hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, current state licensure, and immunization certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
