Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in Texas. You’ll provide expert pharmacy consulting to patients, educate on medication usage and costs, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services. You’ll ensure safety and compliance while mentoring teammates in a collaborative setting.

Eligible candidates hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, active licensure, and must become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire; benefits include competitive pay and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
