Job summary

Times Supermarkets in Hawaii seeks a licensed Pharmacist to perform all duties of a pharmacist, ensuring safety, security, and integrity of medications. You will dispense prescriptions, administer vaccinations, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

You will supervise staff, assist with scheduling and training, process invoices, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license and pharmacy education are required.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Basic math and cash handling skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with transactions; use names when possible.
• Supervise associates and assist with scheduling, training, and enforcing policies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Compound medications per standard formulas and process, including measuring ingredients.
• Administer vaccinations following professional protocols.
• Process prescriptions, enter data, file insurance claims, and handle payments.
• Monitor inventory in Pharmacy and OTC sections, and manage stock levels.
• Pre-packages and labels pharmaceutical preparations; assist with invoices and reports.
