The role emphasizes patient care, staff collaboration, and maintaining a safe, professional pharmacy environment. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, basic math proficiency, and at least 1 year of retail experience, with a second language a plus.

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsabilidades

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with high accuracy
• Administer vaccines as needed
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacies comply with laws including HIPAA
• Maintain professional image and dress standards
• Understand trade area, customers, and competition
• Create a positive pharmacy image with staff and vendors
• Monitor inventory, policies, budgeting, and scheduling
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and compliance
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products
• Use accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits
• Maintain all record-keeping practices for legal compliance
• Keep a clean, organized work area and counters
• Ensure timely product returns per policy
• Maintain and organize equipment and reference materials
• Post signage and ensure brand visibility
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments
• Manage conflicts professionally
• Uphold honesty and integrity in customer and business info
• Follow directions and seek help when needed
• Assist vulnerable groups as needed
