Job summary
West Kingman Pharmacy in Kingman, AZ seeks an experienced Pharmacist to review prescriptions, dispense medications, and advise patients on proper use while ensuring safety and quality of care.
You will collaborate with physicians, supervise pharmacy operations, train staff, and stay current with regulations, infection control, and continuing education to support resident and community health.
Qualifications
- Registered pharmacist degree prior to Jan 1, 2003 or PharmD after Jan 1, 2003.
- Licensed with AZ Board of Pharmacy.
- Licensed with Drug Enforcement Agency.
- Minimum of 30 continuing education hours every 2 years.
- General record keeping and assisting the public.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications with guidance for patients.
- Review physician orders for appropriateness.
- Supervise pharmacy operations and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Advise healthcare professionals on drug therapies and dosages.
- Train and develop pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain infection control and a safe work environment.
- Keep pharmacological knowledge updated through education and networks.
- Collaborate with team to achieve goals and efficient services.
- Follow all policies and regulations regarding medications.
