Qualifications

• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Assist patients with smoking cessation, blood pressure and cholesterol management.
• Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients on how to take medicines and possible reactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• Ensure medicine supply complies with applicable laws.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate with physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and interns; Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
