Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting and patient care across our community stores. You will educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-saving options while delivering immunizations, testing, and medication therapy management as part of a collaborative team.

As a trusted medication expert, you will ensure safety through accurate dispensing, regulatory compliance, and mentorship of pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
