Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmaceutical care at locations across the United States. You will educate patients on medication usage, counsel on cost-effective options, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance, collaborate with pharmacy teams, and contribute to a patient-centered care culture while advancing professionally through Walgreens University and leadership

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
