Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient care in a fast-paced, retail setting. You will educate patients on medications, immunizations, and cost-effective options while upholding safety, accuracy, and regulatory standards.

You’ll deliver immunizations and medication therapy management, mentor team members, and contribute to a patient-focused, collaborative pharmacy environment with opportunities for growth and tuition support.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
