Job summary

ShopRite of Jackson in New Jersey is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver excellent patient care by accurately dispensing medications and providing knowledgeable service. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork with store personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted state Pharmacist license, registration, immunization license or certification in state where employed.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Must not currently be on any federal government exclusion lists (i.e. OIG, GSA).
• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service while dispensing medications.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Dispense medications accurately and monitor drug therapies.
• Assist with MTM cases, immunizations, and disease state management.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff.
• Promote medication adherence and optimize patient care.
