Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions in Stafford, TX seeks a Hospital Pharmacist for remote order entry within a licensed Stafford pharmacy. You’ll monitor, dose, and review patient therapies while leaving dispensing to the hospital.

Qualifications

• Active TX Pharmacist License required.
• 2–4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred.
• Must be willing to gain at least 5 additional licenses in the first 6 months.
• Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice.
• Computer savvy to learn and operate multiple pharmacy information systems.
• Excellent communication with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assures acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses.
• Performs as staff pharmacist as needed.

This position requires you to work within our licensed pharmacy in Stafford, TX and not from your home.

Hospital Pharmacist Remote Order Entry

Utilize your clinical skills – including monitoring, dosing and reviewing patient medication therapy – and leave the dispensing to the hospital. This unique approach to pharmacy operations results in flexible work schedules, a team environment and time for you to focus on what you do best – patient care.

Work Schedule

Every other Saturday and Sunday, Daytime hours (10 hours shifts)

• Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems.
• Excellent communication skills to enable the successful interactions with other healthcare professionals to facilitate the delivery of competent clinical care.
• Must be willing and able to obtain 5 State licenses within the first 6 months

Anticipated hourly range: $50.10 per hour - $64.53 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential).
