Job summary

VytlOne is hiring a Part Time Staff Pharmacist for our TMH Retail Pharmacy in Tallahassee, FL. This outpatient role integrates pharmacy care into patient transitions and supports a flexible work environment.

The candidate will review prescriptions, compound medications when needed, and counsel patients on drug interactions and storage while maintaining quality assurance and accurate data entry. Florida license and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff per policies and laws.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written) for patient care.
• Passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism and teamwork.
• Computer experience; proficient with pharmacy software/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Compound medications using standard formulas and processes when applicable.
• Answer questions and provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.

Responsibilities

• Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable.
• Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Current licenses in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
