What Retail Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Retail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications.

This position is located at Petaluma Health Center

Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm and Sat: 9:00am-1:00pm

Schedule: Part-time working 20 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and verify prescription orders in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Previous experience in a high-volume retail or community pharmacy setting required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• May require vendor credentialing

Anticipated hourly range:$56.10 per hour - $80.30 per hour
