Job summary

Expectations:

The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. This role provides direct patient counseling, collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and supports regulatory compliance and operational excellence within the outpatient pharmacy setting. This position may require flexible scheduling and hours based on operational needs.

THIS POSITION HAS BEEN GRANT FUNDED FOR 18 MONTHS. EMPLOYMENT IN THIS POSITION AFTER THE INITIAL 18 MONTHS IS CONTINGENT UPON THE CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher degree required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy preferred.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant pharmacist experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:
