Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join our clinical team. The role involves providing pharmaceutical services, drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers, and ensuring safe drug therapy across all patient groups.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy; preferred hospital and retail pharmacy experience; strong communication skills. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• PREFERRED: One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• PREFERRED: Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
• PREFERRED: Good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Advises with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
• Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.

2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.

3. Good communication skills.
