Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing specialized, evidence-based pharmaceutical care to oncology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role focuses on optimizing antineoplastic therapy, ensuring medication safety, supporting regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary oncology team to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required.
ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience required; PGY-2 Oncology residency preferred.
Experience with chemotherapy order review, oncology treatment protocols, and hazardous drug handling.
One year of direct oncology pharmacy experience in an inpatient oncology, outpatient infusion, or ambulatory oncology setting preferred.
Current Kansas pharmacist license or eligible for Kansas license and must obtain within 90 days of hire.
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) within 2 years of hire.
Full Time - Day Shift - Monday through Friday
