Job summary

The Kroger Shelby Township pharmacy is hiring a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services, counsel patients and supervise technicians. You will interpret prescriptions, ensure compliance with regulations, and protect patient privacy while delivering friendly, accurate service.

Responsibilities include counseling, MTM, inventory management and collaboration with prescribers to optimize therapy, in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with current license.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable and team-oriented.
• Good judgement and confidentiality.
• APhA Immunization Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services and counseling.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into the computer system.
• Counsel patients on side effects and interactions.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory and daily operations under the pharmacy manager.
• Collaborate with prescribers on therapy appropriateness.
• Maintain high patient satisfaction and merchandising controls.
