Job Overview:

The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients. They handle the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications and IV admixtures, exercising independent decision-making. The position follows a 7-night on, 7-night off schedule.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of Pharmacy or equivalent foreign degree
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current New Jersey Licensed Registered Pharmacist
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations
• Knowledge of public health matters and laws regulating pharmacy practice

Preferred:

• Advanced degree

Essential Functions:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to diverse patient age groups
• Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications and IV admixtures
• Offer clinical services such as patient counseling and Medication Therapy Management
