Qualifications

• Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Required.
• Pharmacist needs a Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years' experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current pharmacy licensure in North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Maintain prescription records for at least three years.
• Ensure pharmacy follows statutes and regulations pertinent to practice.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws pertaining to dispensing medications.
• Ensure security of prescription transmissions and drugs.
• Manage pharmacy staff, equipment and facilities.
• Oversee ongoing management of pharmacy automation and informatics.
