Qualifications

  • Licensed by a Canadian Provincial College of Pharmacists.
  • Meets Continuing Education requirements for provincial licensure.
  • Previous pharmacy management experience preferred (minimum one year).

Your Role
  • Comply with Provincial Pharmacy Regulations and ensure adherence to Practice Standards and Guidelines
  • Follow the Provincial Drug Formulary and advise the Manager, Retail Pharmacy, on any regulatory changes
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow practices consistent with the Privacy Act
  • Ensure compliance with NIHB Claims Submission
  • Ensure compliance with Store Operating Procedures as defined by the HP&S division and implement operational standards
  • Lead the pharmacy team through orientation, training, and day-to-day operations
  • Provide patient-focused, outcome-based care with strong collaboration across the healthcare team and local agencies
  • Build and nurture relationships with healthcare centers, nursing stations, and physician clinics
  • Identify business opportunities that enhance community pharmacy services

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Licensed by a Canadian Provincial College of Pharmacists
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meets Continuing Education requirements for provincial licensure
  • Effective communication skills to counsel, educate, and instruct patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
  • Previous pharmacy management experience preferred (minimum one year)
  • Community-oriented mindset with a commitment to meaningful care
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software (Kroll experience required)
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for improving access to health services in remote communities
