Job summary

Family Fare, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist in Logansport, Indiana to oversee compounding and dispensing of prescriptions, counsel customers, and manage inventory and records.

The role requires a Doctorate or at least a PharmD with licensure in good standing, immunization certification preferred, and strong knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy laws. Leadership and clinical program experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field required.
• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy preferred.
• Three years experience in pharmaceutical department.
• Pharmacy License in good standing in the state of operation.
• Immunization Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, rules, and guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills, multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Continuing education hours completed and Pharmacy License maintained in good standing.
• Working knowledge of perpetual inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescription and refill requests from customers and clinics.
• Fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately in a professional manner.
• Dispense medications as prescribed and oversee counting, pouring, labeling, and packaging.
• Provide medication counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs.
• Order, stock, inventory checks, and cycle counts for prescription and OTC items.
• Review received orders for accuracy and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain pharmacy records including customer profiles, insurance forms, inventories, and registries.
• Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians or interns as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Assist with clinical programs and immunizations as assigned.
