Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions per Federal and State regulations, dosage, allergies, and interactions.
• Provide therapeutic information to physicians, nurses, and patients and resolve issues.
• Assist in obtaining information for billing purposes.
• Sign for receipt of medications and supplies from wholesalers.
• Maintain controlled substance records and ensure safety standards.
• Verify and update Emergency Kits for accuracy and expiration.
• Develop and maintain safety standards for the pharmacy.
