Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well‑being within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will influence policy, develop clinical services, and integrate medication management into rehab care, exercising independent judgment while supporting a collaborative team focused on outcomes and quality care.

Qualifications

• State board licensure in good standing, in the state where the hospital is located.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team to leverage information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medications per legal and professional standards.
