Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC. is seeking a per diem hospital pharmacist in New York with varied hours to support patient care across shifts and Pyxis operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for appropriateness, dispensing, preparing and compounding medications (including pediatric, neonatal and chemotherapy) and counseling patients. Requirements: BS in Pharmacy, NY State Board of Pharmacy registration, 1–2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred, excellent English

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy required.
• 1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Computer usage and keyboard skills are important.
• Pharmacist - New York State Board of Pharmacy / registration renewal required.

Perform all necessary " Pyxis" tasks, Direct and Wholesaler ordering. Supervises the tasks carried out by the pharmacy technicians & messengers
