Wesley Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Intern PRN to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, compounding, dispensing, IV admixtures and narcotics, auditing supplies, and charge reconciliation.

You may assist in drug consultations with patients and staff. Qualified candidates are licensed interns with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy, enrolled in or recent graduates from an accredited School of Pharmacy, with prior hospital pharmacy

Qualificações

• Licensed intern with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate from, an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy desired.

Responsabilidades

• Perform technical functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical services including compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies, intravenous admixtures and narcotics.
• Audit supplies on nursing units.
• Handle charge reconciliation of patient billing documents.
• Assist in drug consultations to patients, physicians, nurses and hospital personnel.
