Job summary

The candidate must have a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification (or within 3 months), and complete mandatory reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current enrollment in a pharmacy program or proof of commitment.
• Must be Iowa-registered as a pharmacy intern or Tech in Training for up to 12 months.
• BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Proof of mandatory reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in pharmaceutical care delivery, medication preparation and delivery, and chart review.
• Perform technically allowed tasks for a Pharmacy Intern under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
