Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking a Pharmacist Intern at the Boise Regional Medical Campus to join a supportive, mentoring team. You will perform professional pharmacy duties under supervision of licensed pharmacists, gaining exposure to inpatient hospital operations.

The internship offers collaboration with pharmacists, mentorship, and a path to licensure, with opportunities to increase hours during breaks and summers.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as Extern / Intern by the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
• Gains understanding of inpatient hospital pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with practicing Pharmacists for mentorship.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physicians’ requests under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assists pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services.
• Ensures the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to patients.
• Contributes to safe, effective, cost-efficient medication therapies per established policies.
