Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a pharmacist intern for an on-call, temporary position at UKHC Retail Pharmacies in Richmond with coverage also at Lexington locations. The role supports drug distribution, data entry and both sterile and non-sterile compounding, including immunizations and MTM.

The position requires high school plus admission to a College of Pharmacy and registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy operations and law.
• Retail and/or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern.

Responsibilities

• Drug distribution, data entry, non-sterile and sterile compounding.
• Immunizations, MTM, transitions of care discharge planning.
• Assisting pharmacy operations as needed.
