Job summary

University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY seeks a Pharmacist Intern for a temporary, on-call role in Chandler - Retail Pharmacy. Responsibilities include drug distribution, data entry, non-sterile and sterile compounding, immunizations, MTM and discharge planning across multiple sites including possible off-campus locations in Lexington and Richmond.

Applicants must be admitted to a College of Pharmacy and registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern.

Physical Requirements

May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Shift

Varied which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift may include off campus locations in Lexington and Richmond, KY. Transportation will be needed if selected for these locations.
