Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn under the Pharmacy Manager at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane.

The role enables students to progressively acquire hospital pharmacist duties while performing the daily routine of a Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist. You must be enrolled in a PharmD program and obtain Washington Pharmacist Intern registration or license upon hire.

Qualifications

  • Accepted to and/or enrolled in nationally accredited PharmD program.
  • Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire or Washington Pharmacist License upon hire.

  • Learn the job of hospital pharmacists under direct supervision from the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Perform the daily routine of a Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist as part of training.

Under direct supervision from the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Intern position allows the student pharmacist to progressively learn the job of hospital pharmacists while performing the daily routine of a Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:
  • Accepted to and/or enrolled in nationally accredited PharmD program
  • Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire -OR-
  • Washington Pharmacist License upon hire

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $17.26 - $25.87
