Job summary

Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Intern who will work under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager to progressively learn hospital pharmacy roles while handling routine tasks comparable to a Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist.

The program targets students in accredited PharmD programs with registration/licensing steps in Washington; successful candidates will join a team focused on patient-centered care and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be accepted to and/or enrolled in a nationally accredited PharmD program.
  • Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire OR Washington Pharmacist License upon hire.

Under direct supervision from the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Intern position allows the student pharmacist to progressively learn the job of hospital pharmacists while performing the daily routine of a Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:
  • Accepted to and/or enrolled in nationally accredited PharmD program
  • Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire -OR-
  • Washington Pharmacist License upon hire

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
